Filling in the necessary gaps.

Let's Talk About Your Future

What is Medicare Insurance?

This type of insurance, also known as Medigap, helps cover the costs that Original Medicare doesn’t such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. It also offers coverage that Original Medicare doesn’t have like emergency medical care when you travel outside of the United States.

Medicare Cost plans

Medicare Cost plans and Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans do offer additional benefits beyond the standard Medicare coverage (Part A and Part B). These plans are designed to provide more comprehensive care by including services like:

  1. Vision: Coverage for eye exams, glasses, or contact lenses.
  2. Hearing: Benefits for hearing exams and hearing aids.
  3. Dental: Services such as cleanings, exams, and possibly more extensive dental work.
  4. Wellness Programs: These might include things like gym memberships, fitness classes, or preventive care programs to promote healthy living.

MedicareAdvantage (Part C) is an all-in-one plan that bundles your Part A, Part B, and sometimes even Part D prescription drug coverage, along with these extra benefits. Plans may vary by location and provider, so it’s always a good idea to check what’s available in your area to make sure you’re getting the coverage that fits your needs.
Medicare Cost plans are a bit different. They allow you to keep your original Medicare benefits and add on a private plan for additional services, but you can also go back to Original Medicare if you need to.
